A kitchen remodel is one of the largest purchases a household makes, and the first form they fill in feels like a commitment. The goal is not to extract every detail. It is to lower the stakes: here is what we ask, here is what happens next, and no one will pressure you.
Scope before style
Ask what they want changed: a full gut, new cabinets and counters, layout change, or refresh. Then the size ("small, medium, large") and the age of the home. Style preferences matter, but scope and layout drive the project and decide whether you are a match.
Offer a budget question as a range with "not sure yet" as an acceptable answer. Ranges help you decide how to prepare for the first meeting, but do not make the field required.
Fields that make a good first meeting
- ✓What is changing — cabinets, counters, layout, appliances
- ✓Kitchen size and age of home
- ✓Budget range — optional, with "not sure"
- ✓Timeline — ideal start and any event deadlines
- ✓Who decides — one person or a couple
Tell them what the consult is
People worry that "free consultation" means a hard sell. Describe it: a visit of about an hour, measurements, a conversation about what matters, and a written scope later. A confirmation message that explains this builds more trust than the form itself.
We route submissions to your email, add spam filtering and keep the form short enough for a mobile screen.
Before accepting more requests
- ✓Know your capacity — say how booked you are
- ✓Set a consult window — two or three open slots
- ✓Update the portfolio — with finished kitchens
- ✓Confirm the area — towns you cover
Process and team
Homeowners are inviting strangers in for weeks. A short "how it works" strip and a team page with names and faces answer the unspoken question. Put a link to the process on the confirmation too, so someone who has just submitted can read what will happen.
What to expect, honestly
- ✓We do not provide estimates — the form starts the conversation
- ✓Photo uploads are scoped separately — useful for layout
- ✓Design drawings are yours — we can display finished photos
