A buyer from a boutique or gift shop is usually clicking through five brand sites in a row. If yours makes them hunt for minimums or send an email just to learn whether you ship to their region, they move to the next tab. A wholesale catalog does not need a shopping cart. It needs to answer the buyer’s first questions in the order they ask them.
What a buyer does on the page
They land on your home page, scan the collection grouped by category or season, open one product to check sizes, case packs and materials, and then look for the sentence that tells them what a first order looks like. If that sentence sits on a plain terms page, they keep going. If it is buried in a PDF nobody can find, they leave.
We group products the way your buyers talk about them, such as by collection, by room or by occasion, and give each product a detail page with the specs you supply. Photos carry most of the weight, so we ask for clean images on a plain background where you have them.
What goes on the wholesale terms page
- ✓Minimum first order — stated plainly so small shops know whether to apply
- ✓Case packs and lead times — so buyers can plan their season
- ✓Shipping regions and terms — where you ship and who pays freight
- ✓How to apply — the short form buyers fill in before they see account pricing
- ✓Returns and damage policy — written in your own words
Pricing stays behind your approval
Wholesale prices are often tiered, and many brands only share them with approved shops. That is a reasonable choice, so we do not publish a price list unless you want one. Buyers fill in an application with their shop name, website and the kind of store they run. You review it, decide, and send your own line sheet and price list the way you do today.
The downloadable line sheet is simply a file you provide, linked from the line page. When the next season’s sheet is ready, you send it to us or swap it using the small edits included in Website Care.
What you send us to start
- ✓Your current line sheet — we build the catalog structure from it
- ✓Product photos and names — grouped however you already organize them
- ✓The terms you offer — minimums, shipping, payment terms
- ✓The story of the brand — a few honest paragraphs, or we draft from your notes
A mistake we see in wholesale sites
Brands often put a retail checkout at the front and tuck the wholesale link into the footer. Buyers then think you only sell direct. Put the apply button in the main menu, next to the line, and let the shop-at-retail path live on a separate page if you have one.
What to expect, honestly
- ✓No inventory or ERP sync — stock counts and orders stay in your own system
- ✓No automatic price approval — you review and respond to each application
- ✓Accounts and invoicing stay offline — we do not build buyer accounts or payment terms tools
