Chasing a check or a bank transfer slows your cash. A pay button on your site lets a customer settle up in a minute, from a pocket device, at the moment they decide. You still receive the money through your own account.
How it works
We do not process payments ourselves. We connect a payment provider you already use, or help you set up Square, and place its pay button or checkout link where your customers need it: on a service page, a invoice reminder page or a deposit step.
The customer taps pay and enters their card details on the provider’s own secure page. The money goes to your account. Your records and receipts live in the provider’s dashboard, not on our servers.
What you decide
- ✓What customers pay for — a deposit, a service, an invoice or a product
- ✓Fixed or variable amount — a set price or a field to type an amount
- ✓Receipt wording — what the customer sees afterward
- ✓Refund approach — how you handle changes of mind
Fees and responsibility
Processing fees, payout timing and dispute rules belong to your provider, and their rates apply. We cannot promise outcomes related to chargebacks or compliance with payment standards. The provider carries that part of the work, which is one reason we use their hosted pay pages instead of collecting cards ourselves.
On your side, write clear terms on the page: what is being paid for, when, and how to reach you with a problem. A short plain sentence prevents a surprising number of disputes.
What to prepare
- ✓Your processor account — or let us help set up Square
- ✓What you charge — names and amounts of services
- ✓Terms in plain words — cancellation and refund rules
- ✓Who gets notified — the person who sees each payment
What to expect, honestly
- ✓No payment processing by us — your provider handles card data
- ✓No compliance claims — payment standards are the provider’s side
- ✓Provider fees are separate — they bill you directly
