Most people looking at your address are on a mobile browser, in a car or on a sidewalk. They need an address they can tap, a map that opens on their own device and the small details that stop them circling the block.
What makes a location section useful
An address written as a tappable link opens the map app the visitor already uses. Next to it, put your hours, with exceptions for holidays, and a line on where to park or which door to use.
An embedded map looks nice but can be slow. We often use a plain link plus a short written description, and add an embedded view only where it helps.
Details worth including
- ✓Exact address — written as it appears on your sign
- ✓Hours — including lunch breaks or seasonal changes
- ✓Parking — where to park, and any cost or limits
- ✓Entrance notes — which door, floor or suite number
Keeping it correct
Wrong hours cost you more than missing ones. We set up the page so your hours appear in one place and are easy to edit, and we recommend matching them to your business listings.
If you serve customers at their location rather than yours, we describe your service area instead of a map pin. Nobody should arrive at a house that is not a business. Walk the route as a stranger would, once, with a fresh eye: note the last turn, the sign you can see from the street and anything that confuses. Those three notes usually become the most useful lines on the page.
What to prepare
- ✓Exact address — with suite and floor
- ✓Hours — regular and holiday
- ✓Parking and access notes — what a first-timer needs
- ✓Landmarks — what visitors can look for
What to expect, honestly
- ✓No live traffic or wait times — we show static information
- ✓No address for home businesses — we respect your privacy choice
- ✓No routing app — visitors use their own map app
