Tint customers are choosing from a menu they barely understand: ceramic or carbon, how dark, which windows, whether to remove old film. Without help they ask for a "price for tint" and you spend ten minutes explaining. A page that lays out the options simply lets them arrive with an answer and book the right amount of bay time.
Time depends on the vehicle
A two-door coupe takes less time than a large SUV, and removing old film adds hours. Set services by vehicle size and by whether removal is included, so the calendar reserves the actual time the job needs.
Drop-off is a common model, so tell customers what happens: when to arrive, how long the car stays and whether they should wait or leave. Clear instructions prevent the 8 a.m. confusion at the door.
What to explain on the page
- ✓Film types — what each does, in everyday words
- ✓Shade levels — how dark and what local rules may limit
- ✓Coverage options — sides, rear, windshield strip or full
- ✓Cure time — how long to wait before rolling windows down
Quote first, book second
Many customers want a price before booking. A short quote form asks for year, make, model, which windows and whether old tint needs removal. You reply with a number and a time, or the customer picks a bay slot directly if pricing is simple.
Commercial and home work operates differently. Offer a separate request path for buildings, with a place to describe the glass and the site, since those jobs usually start with a visit.
What you give us
- ✓Film options — names and a line each in your own words
- ✓Vehicle categories — how you group sizes for time
- ✓Gallery — finished cars with the shade clearly shown
- ✓Booking tool — existing, or Square for calendar and deposits
Hot-weather demand
Spring and summer bring the most calls as the sun gets harsh. A note about how far ahead you are booked, and which days you keep free for walk-ins, helps customers plan.
What to expect, honestly
- ✓Legal shade limits vary and are the customer’s responsibility — we show your guidance, not legal advice
- ✓Warranty terms come from the film maker — we place what you supply
- ✓Provider fees are separate — payment and booking tools charge their own rates
