A therapist’s site launches best once you have written, in your own gentle words, who you help and what a first session looks like. People arrive anxious, and warmth in the details does more than any design.
How the launch unfolds
Day 1-2: You send your specialties, approach, first-session details and photo, and we outline the home, services, approach, about and contact pages.
Week 1: We write and design the pages with a warm tone and set up a simple, private contact path.
Week 2: You review on a phone, we soften wording where needed and test the contact route.
Launch: We publish, check mobile views and leave you a short note on updating availability.
What to gather before you start
- ✓Your specialties and the people you work with — described plainly, in language a visitor would use themselves
- ✓A short description of your approach — how sessions feel, not clinical jargon
- ✓First-session information — logistics, what to expect and any policies around scheduling
- ✓Your background as you hold it — training and licensure written accurately, in your own words
- ✓A calm portrait or office photo — a real image of you or your space helps visitors feel safer reaching out
The first month after launch
In the first month, check that the contact route reaches you and respond to inquiries through your usual private channels. Update your availability and any seasonal notes, such as new-year or back-to-school openings, and keep wording warm and simple.
Mistakes to avoid at launch
- ✓Writing in clinical language — visitors feel distance and move on to someone who sounds like a person
- ✓Leaving out first-session details — anxious visitors imagine the worst and delay reaching out
- ✓Collecting health details in a form — it raises privacy concerns and is better handled in conversation
One example of what your site could look like
This is one sample we designed. Yours is built around your business, your photos and your words, and we have more examples if you want to compare directions.
What it costs
