A mobile practice site launches once your coverage area and the steps of a home visit are confirmed in writing, since the first question every visitor asks is whether you can reach them. Families arranging care for a parent often do the research, so the wording should speak to them as well as patients. Credentials and services come next, stated exactly as you hold them.
How the launch unfolds
Day 1-2: You send coverage, services and visit steps, and we plan a home page that answers "do you come to my area" before anything else.
Week 1: We write the services, coverage and how-it-works pages in plain language, and you review every statement for accuracy.
Week 2: We set up a request form asking only for a name, contact details, town and who is making the request, and test it on a phone.
Launch: We publish after your approval; a 48-hour launch is possible for eligible projects with content ready.
What to gather before you start
- ✓Coverage list — towns, counties or zip areas you travel to, plus any days you serve certain areas
- ✓Services overview — the kinds of visits you offer, described in general, informational language
- ✓Visit steps — how requests are made, how scheduling works and what to have ready when the clinician arrives
- ✓Credentials as you hold them — licenses and training in wording you supply, so nothing is overstated
- ✓Request method — the scheduling tool or short form you will use, kept free of health details
The first month after launch
In the first month, review incoming requests for repeat questions and add short, general answers to the how-it-works page. Update coverage as you add towns, and before winter and the hottest summer weeks, add a brief note on how to request a visit during busy periods. Keep credential wording current and confirm the scheduling link still works after any software change. If you pause service in an area for a period, say so plainly on the coverage page rather than leaving requests unanswered.
Mistakes to avoid at launch
- ✓Leaving coverage vague — people outside your area request visits you cannot make and everyone loses time
- ✓Collecting symptoms or history in the form — sensitive information lands in an inbox where it does not belong
- ✓Writing only for the patient — adult children arranging care cannot tell how to book on a parent’s behalf
