Before a day spa site launches, the treatment menu should be final, the gift card tool should sell a working test card, and the photos should show the relaxation lounge rather than only the front desk. Guests planning a spa day want to picture the whole visit, from robes and lockers to the steam room. Gather those details and the build itself is straightforward.
How the launch unfolds
Day 1-2: You send the menu, packages, photos and gift card link, and we design a home page that leads with a calm image and two clear actions: book a treatment or buy a gift.
Week 1: We build the treatments, gifts and groups pages, turn the menu into readable sections on a phone and connect booking.
Week 2: You buy a test gift card, book a test appointment and correct any durations or descriptions.
Opening day: We publish once both tests work; a 48-hour launch is possible for eligible projects with content ready.
What to gather before you start
- ✓Treatment menu — massages, facials, body wraps and nail services with lengths and short descriptions, typed out rather than scanned from print
- ✓Packages and day itineraries — half-day and full-day bundles described in the order guests experience them
- ✓Gift card tool — the system you already sell cards through, or one we help connect, tested with a real purchase
- ✓Space photos — treatment rooms, the lounge and any pool or steam area, shot in soft, even light
- ✓Group and bridal policies — group sizes, deposits, whether you close for private events and how far ahead to book
The first month after launch
During the first month, add a short "your visit" section covering arrival time, robes, lockers and quiet-room etiquette, since first-time guests ask about all of it. Move gift cards to the top of the home page a few weeks before Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day and the winter holidays. Update the menu whenever a treatment changes, and ask guests who enjoyed their day to share it through the review site they already use.
Mistakes to avoid at launch
- ✓Uploading the menu as a PDF — guests on phones pinch and zoom, give up and book with a spa they can read
- ✓Tucking gift cards into the footer — holiday and Mother’s Day shoppers cannot find them at the moment they are ready to buy
- ✓Leaving group details vague — bridal parties and birthday groups send long email threads or book somewhere else
