For a balloon decorator, launch day depends on one thing above all: a gallery that looks like the parties you want to be booked for. Pick photos that show organic garlands, column pairs, backdrop walls and marquee setups in real venues, then write packages around them. Travel area and setup rules can be drafted in an afternoon.
How the launch unfolds
Day 1-2: Photos come first, and we sort them by style and pick a hero image for the home page.
Week 1: The packages and events pages are written around your tiers, and the gallery is organized by occasion with short captions.
Week 2: You check package contents and travel notes, and we test the quote form, including the inspiration photo upload, on a phone.
Launch: The site is published after your approval; a 48-hour launch is possible for eligible projects with content ready.
What to gather before you start
- ✓Gallery picks — the twelve to twenty strongest installations, shot from the guest’s eye level, with a few close-ups of color blending and texture
- ✓Style and package tiers — grab-and-go garlands, delivered arches and full backdrop builds, with what each includes
- ✓Occasions — baby showers, birthdays, graduations, grand openings and corporate launches, noting any you specialize in
- ✓Travel and setup terms — the area you deliver to, setup and teardown time, outdoor and wind policies and venue access needs
- ✓Quote form fields — event date, venue, color palette, inspiration photo and the style tier the client is considering
The first month after launch
Through the first month, photograph each installation before guests arrive, while the room is clean and the light is good, and add the best shots to the gallery. Ahead of spring graduations and fall party season, feature matching styles on the home page. Add a color palette note or two as clients ask about coordinating with themes. Keep the travel area and outdoor policy current as your service range or crew grows, and ask clients through your usual channels whether they would be happy for their event to appear in the gallery.
Mistakes to avoid at launch
- ✓Showing only close-ups — clients cannot judge the scale of an arch against a doorway or stage
- ✓Leaving out outdoor and heat rules — balloons fail in the sun and the client blames the decorator
- ✓Skipping the delivery area — inquiries arrive from two hours away for a same-day setup
