The package most tutors start with
Most tutors fit Launch Website: $399 one-time for up to 5 pages, plus Website Care at $30/month. Every package includes a consultation, mobile-friendly design, copy we write for you, a contact form, essential search setup and 10 revision rounds.
Optional add-ons, billed separately
The prices above are for your website. These two are separate monthly products you can add now or later. Neither is part of the website price.
Monthly SEO, from $50/month: new pages published on your site every month. See Monthly SEO →
Business Spotlight, from $30/month: articles about your business, labeled as paid, published on The Company Chronicle. See Business Spotlight →
What a tutoring site includes and what it doesn't
- ✓Subjects and grade levels — Math, reading, writing and test prep broken down by grade or exam, so parents find the right fit quickly.
- ✓How sessions work — In person, online or at the library, session length, and what happens in a first meeting.
- ✓First session request — A form for the student's grade, subject, goals and preferred times, with no school records or report cards requested.
- ✓Scheduling and payments — We connect Calendly, Square or the tool you use; that account and its fees stay with that provider.
- ✓Not included — Student sign-in areas, homework uploads or progress dashboards aren't part of a standard build.
A tutor's website costs, explained
Tutors pay the plan's price one time for design, copy, subject pages and the first session form. Website Care, $30/month, provides hosting, HTTPS, backups and weekly checks, with small edits like adding a new subject or summer hours.
Video call tools, scheduling apps, payment processors and the domain renewal bill you directly.
How we build your tutoring site
- Consult: Your subjects, students and teaching approach.
- Background and credentials: Your teaching experience and certifications; we list only those.
- Subject page review: You correct the details in our drafts of each subject page.
- School's in: Once you've signed off on the final round, families can find you.
Tutors ask
Can I share student results?
Only with permission from the student and their parents, and without naming them unless they agree. We never invent score improvements or grade jumps. A short quote from a parent, shared with consent, often says more than numbers anyway.
Can parents book and pay online?
Yes, through a scheduling or payment tool you connect, like Calendly with Square or Stripe. Parents pick a time and pay in that tool, which charges its own fees. The website simply sends them there with a clear button.
I tutor online across the country. Does that change things?
Yes. We focus on how online sessions work, the video tool you use, time zones and the subjects you teach, rather than a local area. A short tech-check note helps families get ready before the first session.
Can I offer a free first session?
Yes. We present it clearly as the first step on the home page and in the form, along with what happens during it, such as a quick skills check and a plan. You decide how long it lasts and who qualifies.
How it works
1. Consultation
We learn your services, customers and goals, in English or Spanish.
2. We write and design
We draft the words and build the site around your business.
3. 10 revision rounds
You review and request changes until it is right.
4. Launch and care
We launch, then Website Care keeps it hosted, backed up, checked weekly and A/B tested.
Proof from our own websites
We build and grow our own websites first. Across them, monthly Google impressions grew from 2,109 in March 2026 to 77,354 in September. See the results →
