The pages we build for a photography business website
Every site is built around how your customers actually choose a photography business. A typical build includes:
- ✓Home page with inquiry button
- ✓Portfolio galleries
- ✓Services and packages
- ✓About you
- ✓Inquiry form
Need more pages for every service or town you cover? Larger packages give you room to grow.

The package most photographers start with
Most photographers fit Launch Website: $399 one-time for up to 5 pages, plus Website Care at $30/month. Every package includes a consultation, mobile-friendly design, copy we write for you, a contact form, essential search setup and 10 revision rounds.
Optional add-ons, billed separately
The prices above are for your website. These two are separate monthly products you can add now or later. Neither is part of the website price.
Monthly SEO, from $50/month: new pages published on your site every month. See Monthly SEO →
Business Spotlight, from $30/month: articles about your business, labeled as paid, published on The Company Chronicle. See Business Spotlight →
What a photographer's site includes and what plugs in
- ✓Portfolio galleries — Large, fast-loading images grouped by session type, like weddings, families, newborns or headshots.
- ✓Session and package pages — What's included, how long sessions run, how many edited images clients receive and when, as you describe it.
- ✓Inquiry form — Collects date, location, session type and how they found you, so you can check your calendar first.
- ✓Client gallery delivery — We link to the service you use, such as Pixieset or ShootProof; proofing and downloads live there, not on our site.
- ✓Custom-scoped tools — Print stores, contract signing or booking calendars with payment are quoted separately.
What photographers pay for, and what's billed elsewhere
Photographers pay the plan's price once for design, portfolio galleries, session pages and the inquiry form. Website Care, $30/month, keeps everything hosted on HTTPS, backed up and checked weekly, and it covers small edits like swapping in a new portfolio set after wedding season.
Gallery delivery, HoneyBook or other contract and invoicing tools, print labs and your domain renewal are paid directly to those services.
How we build your portfolio site
- Style call: Your style, favorite sessions and the clients you want more of.
- Culling together: You send your best images, and we help narrow them so every gallery feels strong.
- About page in your voice: Session and about pages are drafted, then you refine them.
- Published on approval: When you're happy, the site launches.
Photographers ask
Will big photos slow the site down?
We size and compress images so they look sharp but load quickly on phones, even on a weak signal at a venue. You send full-resolution files, we create the web versions, and your originals stay untouched on your own drives.
Can clients view their galleries on my site?
Client galleries stay in your delivery service, like Pixieset or ShootProof, which handles proofing, downloads and print orders. We link to it from your site's menu, so clients find their photos easily without us rebuilding that system.
Do I have to show my session fees?
Not at all. Many photographers show starting prices to attract the right clients, while others send a pricing guide after an inquiry. We write whichever approach you prefer, using only your numbers, and the form can ask for budget instead.
Can I protect my images from being copied?
We can disable right-click and add watermarks you provide, but no website can fully stop screenshots. Keeping full-resolution files off the site is the most practical protection, and we only publish web-sized versions.
How it works
1. Consultation
We learn your services, customers and goals, in English or Spanish.
2. We write and design
We draft the words and build the site around your business.
3. 10 revision rounds
You review and request changes until it is right.
4. Launch and care
We launch, then Website Care keeps it hosted, backed up, checked weekly and A/B tested.
Proof from our own websites
We build and grow our own websites first. Across them, monthly Google impressions grew from 2,109 in March 2026 to 77,354 in September. See the results →
