The package most home builders start with
Most home builders fit Business Extra: $1,500 one-time for up to 50 pages, plus Website Care at $30/month. Every package includes a consultation, mobile-friendly design, copy we write for you, a contact form, essential search setup and 10 revision rounds.
Optional add-ons, billed separately
The prices above are for your website. These two are separate monthly products you can add now or later. Neither is part of the website price.
Monthly SEO, from $50/month: new pages published on your site every month. See Monthly SEO →
Business Spotlight, from $30/month: articles about your business, labeled as paid, published on The Company Chronicle. See Business Spotlight →
What a home builder's site covers, and where it stops
- ✓Portfolio of finished homes — Homes you've built, with photos, square footage and the features you choose to show.
- ✓Building process page — Steps from lot to keys: design, permits, construction, walkthroughs and warranty, in your words.
- ✓Floor plans or models — Plans as images or downloadable PDFs if you offer them, with notes on what buyers can customize.
- ✓Consultation request — A form asking whether they own land, their budget range, timeline and the kind of home they want.
- ✓Custom-scoped tools — Interactive plan configurators, lot maps or buyer selection areas need a separate quote.
How the cost of a builder's site works
Builders pay the plan price once for design, copy, portfolio pages, the process page and the consultation form. Website Care, $30/month, keeps it hosted on HTTPS, backed up and checked weekly, and handles small edits like adding a newly completed home to the portfolio.
Architectural renderings, professional photography, 3D or virtual tour hosting and domain renewal are billed by those providers. If a lender or design center is mentioned, their terms are theirs.
How we build your builder site
- Kickoff: The homes you build, your price points and the buyers you're looking for.
- Portfolio material: Photos, plans and renderings you have permission to publish.
- Detail check: We draft the process and portfolio pages, and you confirm specs and timelines.
- Publish on approval: After revisions and your sign-off, we put it live.
- Progress updates: New builds and finished homes go up through Website Care.
Builders ask
Can we show homes under construction?
Yes. A "currently building" section with progress photos shows buyers how you work, from foundation to trim. Send new photos as homes progress and we update the section through Website Care, so it reflects what's actually on your sites.
Should we list prices?
Many builders show "starting from" pricing or ranges by plan, which helps buyers self-select. Others prefer to talk numbers after a consultation. We publish exactly what you approve, and nothing about financing or appraisals that you haven't provided.
Can we include warranty details?
Yes, the details you provide, such as what's covered and for how long. We don't add promises you haven't made, and if your warranty comes from a third-party program, we describe it as you do and link to their information.
Can buyers pick finishes online?
Not through a standard build; a selections tool is custom work we'd scope separately. The site can explain how selections work with you, such as design center visits and allowance levels, so buyers know what to expect.
How it works
1. Consultation
We learn your services, customers and goals, in English or Spanish.
2. We write and design
We draft the words and build the site around your business.
3. 10 revision rounds
You review and request changes until it is right.
4. Launch and care
We launch, then Website Care keeps it hosted, backed up, checked weekly and A/B tested.
Proof from our own websites
We build and grow our own websites first. Across them, monthly Google impressions grew from 2,109 in March 2026 to 77,354 in September. See the results →
