After eleven

A small room that keeps late hours.

Velvet Eleven is a cocktail lounge behind a heavy curtain: forty seats, deep red booths, a long bar lit from underneath and a sound system that was clearly the first thing we paid for. The drinks are serious. The room is not.

Come at golden hour for a quiet martini and a plate of olives. Come back after eleven when the lights drop, the records get louder and the bartenders start pouring things that aren't on any menu.

The pour

Four glasses worth the trip.

This week

Nights at the Eleven.

Every day, five to seven: golden hour. Half the lights, half the noise, the best seat in the house.

Private hire

Take the back booth.

Birthdays, launches, engagements and leaving drinks. Book the back booths for a group or take over the whole room on a quiet night. We'll write a short cocktail list just for you and keep the playlist on your side.

Doors at 5.
Lights low at 9.

Small room, big sound. Booths are first come, first served; the bar is always open to walk-ins.

Before you come

Do I need a reservation?

No. Booths are first come, first served and the bar is always held for walk-ins. Groups can book the back booths ahead.

Is there a dress code?

Dress like you're going somewhere. No suits required, no sportswear after nine.

Do you serve food?

Small plates for sharing: olives, truffle fries and a cheese and charcuterie board for the booth.

What's good without alcohol?

Our zero-proof list gets the same care as the cocktails. Ask the bar for something off-menu and they'll build it.

Curtain's open

See you
after eleven.
